Limbaži museum

The Limbaži Museum Exhibition Halls and Display are located in the new 19th-century castle of the Riga Town Council, otherwise known as the Manor House steward's building on 7 Burtnieku iela, Limbaži.

Here you can take a look at the displays:
*Perpetuum mobiles.   The cultural-historical processes and economic life of the town and Limbaži Municipality.
*Baumaņu Kārlis and singing traditions in Limbaži Municipality.

Medieval Castle Ruins are located next to the museum and are historically significant because the castle was once one of the residences of the Riga Archbishop.

In the second half of May, the museum invites guests to visit Museum Night but on the first Saturday in August to Hanseatic Day Festival in the Medieval Castle Ruins.

Old Firefighter's Depot

The Old Firefighter's Depot is located in the premises of the Limbaži Voluntary Firefighter's Union built at the end of the 19th century.

Here you can take a look at such displays as the Observation Tower.  Spritzenhaus.  Depot. Firefighters in Limbaži since 1867 and the technical device collection exhibited in the open storage of the Limbaži Museum.

Visitors are welcome to get into GAZ 53 truck, put on a firefighter's uniform, and climb up the narrow stairs across glass flooring to the very top of the depot's tower.
